Alfredo likes to linger in the doorway,
Looking out towards where Earth curves away.
For him space is a muse, inspiring still,
Reverberating through the empty will,
Even as he dreams of icy Norway
Dancing in the dusk of dying day,
Or Spain, whose hot, dry plains horizons fill.
